The second generation Bentley T-Series was introduced in 1977.
The new Bentley T2 had an almost identical exterior design to the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II, except for the front grille and bumper (the same components that differed the first generation Bentley T-Series from the Silver Shadow I). It featured an improved 6.75-litre V8 engine and new rack & pinion steering. Standard components included a newly-designed split-level air-conditioning system, rear head restraints and a revised dashboard. A long-wheelbase variant was also produced by Bentley based on the T2 Saloon (only 10 units were sold).
