CITROEN C3 Picasso
Generations Timeline, Specs and Pictures
Taking advantage of home turf, Citroen chose the 2012 Paris Motor Show to debut a slightly improved version of the C3 Picasso in order to battle all the other new B-segment MPVs that have been crowding the market in the past few years.
New styling features include a refreshed front bumper with the new chevrons along with LED daytime running lights added at the bottom of the fog lamp surrounds. The French have also updated the cloth seats, added optional Mistral Claudia leather, redesigned the alloys and added useful things like USB and Bluetooth, plus available fog lamps with static cornering lighting, an electrochrome interior rearview mirror.
The Citroen C3 Picasso is a small MPV by French manufacturer Citroen presented at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and launched in 2009.
It features a very flexible interior with split-fold rear seats that also slide independently over 150mm. The boot is equally as useful at a vast 500 litres. The C3 Picasso is available in three trim levels, VT, VTR+ and Exclusive. All cars come with a five speed manual gear box, though a semi-automatic and a six speed manual are expected in 2011. There are two petrol and two diesel engines available from launch. It was also named Top Gear’s Family Car of the Year.
