MINI Hatch F55 2014 - 2018

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

Despite having grown a bit in dimensions, the 2014 MINI Hatch carries forward its predecessor’s aspiration to remain the leading original of the premium small car segment, providing significant advancements in all areas regarding driving fun, quality and individual flair.
The new MINI is now 98 mm longer, 44 mm wider and 7 mm higher than its predecessor, while the wheelbase has been extended by 28 mm, all allowing for improved cornering and ride comfort as well as increased interior room. The typical MINI three-way separation of body structures has been retained, with the corpus, greenhouse and roof looking clearly separated one from the other. The front and rear fascias of the new MINI are to bear most of the visual enhancements, while the interior received high-en color and materials combinations, redesigned shapes, a new instrument cluster on the steering column, a head-up display, Emergency Call, MINI Connected XL Journey Mate with Real Time Traffic Information and a slightly redesigned trademark central gauge which can be fitted with a 8.8-inch infotainment system.

Revealed in December 2014, the 2015 MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop is pretty similar to the Cooper S version. On the outside it comes with a different front bumper with more vents, a new rear apron as well as a set of new rims and white direction indicators contained by the LED headlights. JCW badging is also present. Inside, the new JCW Hardtop comes with aggressive-styled seats covered in Dinamica/fabric, badged door sills, perforated leather wrapped steering wheel, aluminum pedals and paddle shifters. Performance upgrades include a new suspension and electromechanical power steering, DSC, DTC, electronically lockable differential and damper adjustment.
