The Daewoo Statesman, just like its Australian and American platform brothers (the Holden Statesman and Cadillac Catera, respectively) is based on the last generation of the Opel Omega.
It’s also a long wheelbase version of the Commodore range and thanks to a wider track, traction control, and four-channel ABS, the model was better handling than its counterpart. Standard features included dual-zone climate control, a 12-mode trip computer, stereo controls for rear passengers, headphones jacks in the rear parcel, as well as a flip-down table incorporated into the rear armrest.
