The 2002 refresh brought little changes to the already outstandingly built vehicle.
The car returned to the AMG labs for further tweaks where it received a beefed-up 5.5 L V8 engine with a higher power output than that of the previous model, a slightly redesigned interior and a variety of other features including a power sunroof, rain-sensing wipers and the very practical front seat and mirror memory. The slightly altered front end gets a pair of dual-Xenon headlights while suspension is mated to a set of 18” alloy wheels with wide tires for enhanced grip.
