MG ZT 2001 - 2004

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

Released as a high-performance version of the Rover 75, the ZT was slightly differently styled, following the same primary design patterns.
However, the car received a more aggressive look, mainly thanks to Peter Stevens’ (designer of the McLaren F1) involvement in the project. The car’s underpinnings were also adjusted with the chassis having been reinforced and suspension upgrades for a firmer ride. Having complemented Mg’s line-up alongside the ZR and ZS, the car could have been a success but it failed to do so as MG went bankrupt in 2005 and production was discontinued.
