NISSAN Prairie 1989 - 1996

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

Nissan’s small MPV was a vehicle widely sold across the American continent, with the second ‘90 launched generation having been rebadged as the Axxess and shipped across North America.
Though it did not enjoy great success in the US where it was sold for one year only, it had a 5-year life-span on Canadian territory. The Prairie came with a choice of two gasoline engines with capacities of 2.0 L and 2.4 L and power outputs of 98 hp and 133 hp respectively. Top speed and acceleration were good for a car in Prairie’s class as was the fact that both varied depending on the choice of transmission, a standard 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
