In early 2004, the American car manufacturer Pontiac rolled out three versions of the G6 series, including a 2-door convertible, a 2-door coupe and a 4-door sedan.
Together with the other two variants, the Sedan version was based on the General Motors Epsilon platform, along with the 2002 Opel Vectra, the 2005 Fiat Croma and the 2007 Saturn Aura. In addition, the saloon packed the same three engine configurations, a 2.4-, a 3.5- and a 3.9-liter which produced 167, 201 and 240 horsepower. Successor of Pontiac Grand Am, the Pontiac G6 is still in production this year but there is no news regarding a potential model to replace it into the Pontiac line-up.
