The Spanish automaker scrapped initial plans of marketing the Exeo under only one body style, namely the saloon and introduced in the market the ST (Sport Tourer) version in August 2009.
The Exeo ST features the same engine range as the sedan version with the only difference being its larger interior space. With the new Exeo ST, Seat made available the WIV system. It informs the driver when the car needs to be serviced, if the engine becomes low on oil or about brake wear. Thanks to the WIV system, Seat introduced the recommended gear function, which suggests the appropriate gear for the optimum fuel consumption at any given speed.
