After being delayed several times due to design changes, the Giulia makes its return just in time to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s 105th birthday, as it got revealed in Arese, near Milan, at an international press conference.
As with the rest of Alfa Romeo’s stable, the 2016 Giuila stays close to the company’s elegant but dynamic styling, characterized by a great sense of proportion, simplicity and care for surface quality. An all-Italian design found both on the outside and the interior of the four-door saloon.
Mechanically, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is gifted with a perfect 50:50 weight distribution as well as one of the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment. Replacing the 159 model, it is also the first sedan in the automaker’s offer to be rear-wheel-drive. The list of features reads a torque vectoring differential, integrated brake system that combines stability control and traditional servo brakes, a strong chassis, sporty suspension and a renewed Alfa DNA system.
