The Aston Martin Mark III was introduced by the British manufacturer in 1957 and was produced all the way through 1959.
Based on the DB2/4 Mark II, this new model featured plenty of new components: folding rear seats, redesigned grille, new disc brakes and an all-new hydraulic clutch. It was fitted with a 2.9L 6-cylinder inline engine delivering 162 hp, but also available was a dual exhaust system offering an extra 16 hp. Also available were the DBB and DBD engine configurations, offering 195 and 180 hp respectively. The Aston Martin Mark III was available with a choice of three body styles: hatchback, Fixed Head Coupé and Drophead Coupé.
