Aston Martin Lagonda Limited introduced the DBS in 1967 to produce a smoother transition from the DB6 model.
The new DBS featured a larger wheelbase & square grille and was available with a 4-seat coupe configuration, while powered by DB6’s 4.0L 6-cylinder inline engine delivering 286 hp and reaching a top speed of 141 mph. The DBS was also available with a Vantage option, featuring the same 4.0L unit with an improved output rating of 325 hp. Thanks to its impressive exterior design, the car was used in several Hollywood productions including James Bond’s ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ and ‘The Persuaders’ TV Series.
