The 2004 Audi A3 Sportback received its first facelift in 2008, with the introduction of some interesting innovative technologies such as magnetic ride suspension control system or the S tronic six-speed or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Just like the A3 model, the new A3 Sportback featured much more eco-friendly engines benefiting from lower consumption levels and CO2 emissions. The newly-improved model was available in 3 trim levels - Attraction, Ambition and Ambiente - and featured optional Fine Nappa leather upholstery. New exterior features included a new grille, revised bumpers and redeveloped hood.
US sales continued until 2013.
