In early 2012, the Audi S4 along with other B8 models received a facelift.
The sports sedan thus gets new taillights, a trapezoidal grille and other small changes made to help the S4 continue to be a relevant car against its eternal rival, the BMW 335i sedan. But the biggest change is in the headlights, with a slight wave at the bottom edges, and a re-arranged interior. Xenon plus headlights are available on request. The LED daytime running lights form a narrow, optically homogeneous band that remains open in the vicinity of the xenon lens. The powertain continues to center around the 3.0-liter TFSI engine and its capable power delivery.
