BUGATTI Type 19 Bebe

1911
1916
Initially designed for German car firm Wanderer, the Type 19 Bebe was a prototype developed by Ettore Bugatti.
What was so special about this concept car was its small practical design. French manufacturers Peugeot fell in love with it right away and decided to launch it into production starting 1911. It was officially presented at the 1912 Paris Auto Show and featured slight exterior changes compared to car’s initial design, including revised grille and new suspensions. It had an immense success throughout Europe as it was sold in more than 3,000 units and nicknamed by critics as the ‘European Model T’.
