CITROEN C-Elysee
Generations Timeline, Specs and Pictures
The first Citroen Elysee was a compact sedan produced between 2003-2013 for the Chinese market by a joint venture between the Peugeot-Citroen Group and the Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng Motor.
A face-lifted C-Elysee was introduced in April 2008, having the front and rear-end heavily reworked to bring the model in line with Citroen’s latest design. The second generation of the C-Elysee will be available starting March 2013. The designers started from scratch in designing the new model and the result is both attractive and well balanced. The exterior immediately defines the car as a member of Citroen’s new design style. The front end features the brand’s signature, the Citroen logo that extends on the whole length of the upper air inlet and a large trapezoidal lower air vent that characterizes the latest models from the French automaker. The rest of the bodywork is harmonious and eye-catching. Inside, the design is optimized for space and comfort and there is a wide range of high-tech equipment to choose from. The C-Elysee is available in seven body colors, with different chrome details depending on the level of trim.
