The Citroen Visa is a super-mini that was being produced by the French between 1978 and 1981.
After the takeover of Citroen by Peugeot in the 1974 oil crisis the Visa was the first model under the platform-sharing policy of PSA Peugeot Citroen. The initial versions of the Visa were the “Special” and “Club”. The range of engines that were available for these models were an 652 cc 2-cylinder, and a 1124 cc Douvrin engine / PSA X engine, a four-cylinder “Suitcase engine” that was available for the “Super” model that was launched after 1984.
