The GO is a small hatchback that marks the return of the Datsun brand, brought back to life by Nissan as an affordable car brand for emerging markets.
The GO will be produced in India but will soon be launched in other countries as well, a sort of Dacia of the east. It is structurally based on the Micra and has the exact same wheelbase, also using a 1.2-liter engine from its older brother. Little is known about the first new Datsun, which will enter production in 2014, but we know it will make a lot of compromises in terms of equipment, safety and configuration options in order to be as cheap as possible.
