Ten years after its first release, the Diablo was beginning to show its age but Audi, which had just recently bought Lamborghini tended to differ.
They figured that it was time for one last major facelift. The modified the car both on the exterior and on the interior. These changes included the front bumper, the nose of the car, the air intakes, the dashboard and seats were either upgraded or restyled entirely. The 6.0 comes from the new engine’s capacity which was also used on the Diablo GT, but with updated ECU software and a better variable valve timing system.
