Introduced in 2005, the Morgan AeroMax is the coupe version of the Aero 8.
For reduced weight, the body is made of aluminum. At first the car had the 4.4-liter N62 engine from BMW, but later received the the 4.8-liter V8 engine from the same manufacturer. The sprint from 0 to 62 mph takes just 4.5 seconds. The futuristic rear end of the car made some people compare it to the Batmobil. Production of the Morgan AeroMax was limited to only 100 cars, with a price tag of 110,000 pounds. Popular British television presenter Richard Hammond is one of the privileged few who own such a sports car.
