The market of tuning products for sports-cars was big and different tuners tried to enhance both aesthetically or mechanically the Nissan 370Z.
But the in-house Nissan tuner, Nismo, offered its own version.

The Nissan 370 Z was that kind of car which is hard to keep it stock. Even if just the wheels are changed or the suspension is tweaked, there is something that is no longer stock. The Nissan Motorsport International Limited, Nismo for short, took the already fast 370 Z and made it faster. It was not completely hardcore, but it wasn’t a daily toy anymore.

The outside was modified heavily. On the front, a new bumper with a larger air intake replaced the standard 370 Z bumper. A pair of side-scoops appeared and were underlined by red fins that connect them to the main grille. The DRLs were changed into LED lights. From the side, the new 19” Nismo super-lightweight forged aluminum-alloy wheels by Rays also have been restyled for 2013 with a fork-design and a Gun-Metallic finish. In the rear, a bigger spoiler was placed on the tailgate, plus two big and round exhausts.

Inside the vehicle, the red lights are present at any detail, and a new set of dials appeared on top of the dashboard. An AM/FM/CD/AUX 4-speaker audio system was standard. Also available was a Bose Package featuring an in-dash 6CD changer, two additional speakers (six total), two subwoofers, Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System, auto-dimming inside mirror and HomeLink Universal Transceiver. There are no other options offered.

For the technical department, the 3.7-liter V6 engine kept the same 350 hp from the non-Nismo version, but it enhanced the throttle response. Just one transmission was offered, a close-ratio 6-speed manual with Nissan’s SynchroRev Match synchronized downshift rev matching system.
