NISSAN Bluebird Hatchback
Generations Timeline, Specs and Pictures
The Nissan Bluebird was a hatchback closely sized to a compact that enjoyed great popularity both in Europe and the US.
The most notable feature of the Bluebird is maybe its box-like shape, having been kept based on beliefs that the car would still be successful despite the time’s growing obsession with aerodynamic efficient body shells. The car, launched both in a 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan version, was powered by engines ranging in displacement from 1,598 cc to 1,952 cc. The hatch was also available with a top of the line 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline plant that drove the car to a top speed of 109 mph thanks to its 105 hp.
