Only two years after being unveiled, Renault has decided to give the second generation of the Koleos a mid-cycle facelift, which includes mild exterior upgrades, better equipment and two new diesel engines.
Since the compact/medium SUV is part of Renault’s rather successful top tier lineup, the facelift changes are minimal.
The Koleos’ revamped front end includes a more aggressive-looking engine grille, extra chrome brightwork across the bumper and a redesigned skid plate. The rear has also been slightly upgraded, with a new skid plate extending higher on the bumper and new brightwork similar to the one on the front. New 18- and 19-inch alloys and colors complete the revamp. On the inside, depending on the trim level, there are also new seats, satin chrome inserts on the steering wheel, gear stick and AC vents. The two new diesel engines are the Blue dCi 150 X-Tronic, with 150 horsepower and the Blue dCi 190 X-Tronic All-Mode 4x4-i, with 190 horsepower and paired with all-wheel-drive.
