SATURN Ion Quad Coupe
2003
2007
Saturn Ion is a compact car manufactured by Saturn between 2003 and 2007 when it was finally replaced by Astra, a rebadged version of Opel Astra.
The car was available in two body styles, a 4-door sedan and a 4-door quad coupe, both of them based on the GM Delta platform. The 2003 version of the car had a 140 horsepower engine as standard but multiple others were available as options. Moreover, the parent company introduced two transmissions types, a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic. The name “quad coupe” is used due to the two smaller rear-opening “suicide doors” behind the front doors.
