The third generation Skoda Octavia Combi received a refresh for 2017.
One of the biggest changes can be seen at the front, where the model got split headlights, a redesigned grille and bumper. The rear got slightly changed as well and the car got new rims and colors. The model here is the all-wheel-drive version. A key component of the system is an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch, which is located in front of the rear axle. The system’s control unit constantly calculates the ideal driving torque for the rear axle. Based on this, appropriate power distribution to the four wheels is maintained at all times for any situation.
