Skoda Roomster is a small MPV unveiled by the Czech car manufacturer in March 2006 at the Geneva Auto Show while the production started three months later.
Assembled at the Kvasiny factory, the Roomster is a modified version of a concept presented in September 2003 at the Frankfurt Auto Show but comes with a shorter wheelbase and two swinging doors. Similar to many other models produced by Skoda after Volkswagen Group took over the Czech company, the Roomster is powered by multiple Volkswagen engines, ranging between 1.2 and 1.9 liter, gasoline and diesel. In addition, the 1.6 liter version comes with a Tiptronic automatic transmission.
