After first presented by the Czech car maker as a concept study in 2005, Skoda decided to push the Yeti to mass production.
The second half of 2009 sees the introduction in the market off the new small SUV from Skoda powered by two petrol engines and 3 diesel units, all of them complying with the EURO 5 emission regulations. Its name tries to suggest the little off-roader is able to reach any terrain, as the mystical Yeti creature is rumored to live in high mountain places. Skoda Yeti competes against other small SUV rivals, like Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Nissan Qasqai and Suzuki Grand Vitara.
