The brand new 2014 Toyota Corolla takes things a step above in terms of practicality, economy and refinement for the affordable compact segment.
Set to go on sale in the fall of 2013, this sedan sports a Furia concept-inspired design and a premium-looking interior. The sedan will be available with two 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines, the base 132 HP unit with 128 lb-ft torque and a 140 HP model with 126 lb-ft torque, and a new seven-speed CVT that adds to the familiar six-speed manual transmission. Practicality has been added by making the wheelbase 3.93 inches (100 mm) longer, which directly affects rear seat passenger space.
