The third generation of Toyota’s family minivan was unveiled during the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show in December following to enter the market in February 2010 as a 2011 model.
The people carrier comes with a new and aggressive exterior design, that announces the car’s sportier handling. The suspension was firmed up and the handling sharpened in order to offer a driving experience closer to that of a sedan. Toyota also introduced a new 6-speed sequential automatic transmission and a new 2.7-liter straight four petrol engine alongside the old 3.5-liter V6.
