Volkswagen Pointer is a small family car manufactured by the famous German auto manufacturer between 1994 and 1997, being a special model only addressed to the South American market.
The vehicle was available in two body versions, a five-door hatchback and a two-door sedan, formerly known as Volkswagen Logus. It’s interesting to note that Volkswagen Pointer is a result of a joint venture between Ford and Volkswagen and is entirely based on Ford Escort. The production of the main Volkswagen Pointer was ceased in 1997 but the carmaker continues to manufacture this model in Mexico.
