A little under four years after it was unveiled, the fifth generation of the Audi A4 Avant received a rather extensive mid-cycle facelift, which includes a revamped exterior and interior design alongside technical upgrades as well.
On the outside, the refreshed look is more is a lot sportier and more in line with the latest evolution of the Audi design language.

At the front, the Singleframe grille looks flatter and is a bit wider, while more horizontal lines to emphasize the car’s width are present at both the front and the rear. Even the side view is different thanks to different contour lines above the wheels. The redesigned headlights use LED technology as standard, although the Matrix LED headlamps are still optional. On the engine front, the facelifted A4 Avant will feature three choices that include a mild-hybrid system based on 12 volts. In total, six engine options that are available with either front-wheel-drive or quattro all-wheel-drive, will be available, of which some are paired with a manual transmission, a seven-speed S Tronic or an eight-speed tiptronic.
