The Fiat 2800 Berlina was the first to introduce the “mussone” nose, a name that referred to the pointed front end of the car.
The 2800 was synonymous with class and luxury back in the day. Part of this was due to the fact that important people such as King Vittorrio Emanuele II and the Pope who got one. Another part of this exclusivity was due to the small number of cars that were produced, between 1938 and 1944 just 624 units were made. And when you take into consideration that out of these 210 were built for the military, you realize just how rare these cars were.
