The Intrigue was a mid-sized sedan with a design reminiscent of that previously seen on the Antares and the highly successful first Aurora generation.
Designed to compete against the fast growing Japanese brands, the Intrigue was available in Oldsmobile’s classic trim levels, GX, GL and GLS, with a choice of two petrol units. The car was launched with a 3.8 liter overhead camshaft V6 and received an improved DOHC 3.5 L V6 with the 1999 model renewal. The Intrigue was a short lived model, with the last batch of cars having rolled out the factory in mid-summer 2002.
