Manufactured between 1976 and 1983, the Renault 14 is a small car which was assembled at two factories, in Douai, France, and Haren, Belgium.
Predecessor of Renault 9 and Renault 11 and successor of Renault 6, the 14 was only available as a hatchback and competed with multiple cars, including Volkswagen Golf.
The car was available in multiple engine versions, ranging between 1.3- and 1.4-liter, combined with a 4-speed manual transmission. The most powerful one in the Renault 14 range was a 1.4-liter which produced 70 horsepower and a maximum speed of 155 km/h with a 0 to 100 km/h in 13 seconds.
