The facelift for the Xsara Break in 2000 brought the same number of changes as the five-door and the coupe versions.
Technically, it wasn’t the best-seller of the range, but the facelift did manage to keep some of its sales momentum until the production discontinued in 2005. The front fascia received the same update as the other models: different, larger headlights and a new bumper, while the interior received a new steering wheel and the dashboard had modified controls. Other upgrades included a stiffer chassis for better handling, but this didn’t help the Xsara get much of a slice from its major competitors in the compact class.
