The Ferrari F12tdf pays a true homage to the Tour de France, a legendary road race held in France dominated in the 50’s and 60’s by the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta, which won four consecutive races.
Only 799 vehicle will be built.

Being produced as a high-performance, winning car homage, speed and cornering were top priorities on the engineers’ agenda. The bodywork was built with carbon-fiber elements, which led to a weight reduction of 110 kg (242 lbs) compared to the regular F12.

For a better handling, the front track was widened and the rear axle received an innovative rear-wheel steering system. Also, the aerodynamic package increased the downforce with a stunning 87% and, in combination with the revised suspension, led to a better cornering speed. In order to reduce the unsprung weight, the F12TDF is equipped with special lightweight alloy wheels with five twinned spokes and a very narrow section.

The engine for the F12tdf is borrowed from the F12 Berlinetta and ensures 780 HP from the V12 cylinders and 705 Nm (520 LB-ft), up from 740 HP and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is a transaxle-type, a specific version of the F1 DCT (dual-clutch-technology) with shorter gear ratios. All these technical modifications added to the F12TDF help the car reach a 0-100 kph (0-62mph) sprint in 2.9 seconds.
